Founded in 1987, Hamburg-based Willke Film Production specializes in documentaries focusing on artistic, cultural, spiritual, and political themes and subjects. In 2006, producer and director Claudia Willke trained with Discovery Channel in Intenational Co-Productions, and has experience in working throughout Europe, the USA, Africa, Russia, India, and Japan both independently and with other production companies.

Since 2013, Claudia Willke has led local tv and radio station, TIDE gGmbH in Hamburg, as CEO and has shifted her work to commissioning and producing documentary series:
Her first series for TIDE.tv is "Werkinterview FilmKunst". The series presents various filmmakers who shaped the rich and radical film culture in the Hamburg in the 70s and 80s. The 10 episodes were authored and realized by talented filmmaker students, and it shows their specific approach to the work and philosophy of their more and less famous colleagues.
